Stand-up comedian turned singer Munawar Farooqui recently had a special conversation in an interview. During this, he reacted openly to the allegations of damaging his image and being a ‘fixed winner’. He also spoke openly about his son Mikhail and how he would like his son to learn from his mistakes and not repeat them.
‘I haven’t forgotten about my dream’
Talking about his victory, Munawar Farooqui said- ‘What I believed in from the first day was the same on the last day… I went inside the house of Bigg Boss 17 to win the show and even for a second I could not think about my dream. Didn’t forget. I was getting distracted and I felt I had to take my attention away from the game and fix the problems.
‘Victory happened because of fans and God’
Munawwar said, ‘If there is a puncture, first you have to fix the car otherwise you will not reach the destination, I was ready to fix everything. This victory and love that I have got is because of the fans and God. I am very stressed because I am facing questions about which I have no knowledge but I have to answer them. The tags that people are using against me are troubling me.
Munawar Farooqui reacted on ‘Fixed Winner’
Munawwar, reacting to being called a ‘fixed winner’, said – ‘Man, if a ‘fixed winner’ has to do so much then he cannot be a fixed winner. If I had been the fixed winner, I would have got everything on a plate. The whole season is a testimony to the fact that I had nothing on my plate, I have worked hard and done a lot.
Munawwar Faruqui further said, ‘For those who are calling me a ‘fixed winner’, my answer is that just sit and watch the entire season and you will realize that it was not fixed. I think this is the love of the people and I cannot change the opinion of those who are calling me a fixed winner.
